Scorpios and Virgos Need Not Apply

“We don’t want Scorpios or Virgos, and Capricorns, Pisces and Libras will be prioritized,” reads ad posted at a university in the city of Wuhuan, the U.K.’s Telegraph reported.
According to the Telegraph, the company, which does English-language training, believes that Scorpios are moody and have overpowering personalities, while Virgos are overly critical and constantly changing jobs.
“I hired people with those two star signs before, and they either liked quarreling with colleagues or they could not do the job for long,” said Xia, a woman who works for the company, the Telegraph reported.
The story has gone viral, prompting outrage and ridicule from the public. And according to reports, this isn’t the first incident of celestial discrimination. The Telegraph reported that about two months ago a wedding company was showing preferential treatment to certain applicants, in that case Aquarius or Scorpios were the signs “more suited to the job.”

That company is full of {stuff} with that “constantly changing jobs” bit. My wife and I are both Virgos, and we’ve been with our respective employers for 20 and 22.5 years. (And no, following a natural career path is NOT the same thing as “constantly changing jobs.”)

There are always exceptions to the rule, Julianna’s uncle. You and your wife are obviously the exception. I work with Virgos and they are the pickiest, moodiest people who micromanage.

I am a Scorpio. been unemployed for over 3 yrs, but would not work for a company with this mentality-whatever happened to how well you can do the job???

Makes perfect sense. People that are ignorant enough to actually believe in astrology (not to be confused with astronomy, which is an actual science) would be quite likely to make profoundly stupid decisions based on it.

On one hand it’s really not a one size fits all astrological wheel.
At the same time there is a germ of truth in what she is saying. I have found that,
Scorpios can become fast friends and are typically very sociable. But let there be a miscommunication, a musunderstanding and they will turn on a dime to sting you unleashing outrage that must be innate. They are moddy, vindictive, jealous. If their enviroment vascialltes if even a bit and llife does not see to be going their way….they will form and forever hold a grudge against anyone they can remotely blame.
Virgos ARE typically talkative, manipulative and for them they glass is ALWAYS half empty.
They are also bossy and often unpleasant to even be around..
She is right to consider astrology for a clue toward those she wants to fill her work environment. Why have acrimony if you can avoid it?

I am a Virgo and worked for the same company for 27 years before retiring. I do recall having a few overly critical bosses, but they were not Virgos. It always seemed that more was expected of me than many co-workers, perhaps because I worked so hard to live up to my own critical expectations of myself.

This is nothing but discrimination. Why don’t they just not hire obese people because they move to slow or they are at higher risk to be out sick more. Why not not hire Asian people because they are too short to do the job. This is just a bunch of blatant discrimination. The end!

I am a Scorpio and the most honest dependable, and trustworthy person I know, not to mention completely loyal. I find that many people tend to want to compete against Scorpios knowing full well they’ll never win we are perfectionist and do our jobs very well. I have never been vindictive or jealous there’s no need. I have my skills and personality polished, we tend not to be emotional about things which bothers others. I will make it my business to sting and rid any evil, self centered, vicious backstabbing a-hole which is what most people in the world are. We don’t like bullcrap oh and I am extremely private and not sociable. I love being a Scorpio so deal with it

Capricorns are hard workers. From what I know, Pisces and Libras are the signs that like to please people. They’ll probably get out of their way for others the most. Compared to Scorpios & Virgos, they’re not necessarily always out to please others. The company is probably just preferring these 3 signs for those reasons.

Honestly, we scorpio’s don’t want to work with those types of people anyway. If a person is one to warrant a judgement on us then we WILL in fact only hurt you in the end so to that I say, “Thanks for the heads up, I don’t like your sign eiher!” I appreciate that I don’t have to waste my time…even though the scorpio in me wants to say, “Oh yeah, well I’m a Capricorn, prove them wrong, do a fantastic job and then put my finger up to them and say take your job and shove it!” Scorps are meant for jobs that require a strong head, thick skin, and leadership. We’ll leave the sissy ass jobs for all the other signs!!
