I have discovered that good real estate agents just about everywhere are getting set to FSBO Promoting. They are acknowledging that it’s not only placing a poster in the front place. It’s really concerning building human relationships with these traders who someday will become buyers. Let us assume your god is real (he ain’t, but I digress…). If you KNOW that when the ‘spirit’ of your ‘lord’ is given to a person that they are prone to violent fits, falling, hurting themselves and others, and you then invoke the spirit without taking proper precautions and the person gets hurt: would you be going against God himself when you blamed your injuries on those who invoked the spirit without making sure you would be safe from the effects?

You are brainwashed to believe that anything against the church is against “God.” This is NOT accidental – it protects churches big and small from attrition due to self-thinkers.

I think that woman needs to spend some time on her knees and pray for God to forgive her for going against God himself. Isn’t that the whole reason for going to church? That is the main goal to recieve the Holy spirit and have the Lord God come into your heart & soul. what does she want from the church? does she want them to hold a special offering service to pay for her medical bills? She needs to PRAY,PRAY,PRAY because in the end it will be between her & God not a jury! thank you for letting me coment on such a rediculous , outrageous woman that is surely not a Godly woman or eles she would never go against God & the Holy Spirit

Interesting. It says she was a visitor, so she actually may NOT have known that she was putting herself in danger. On the other hand, suppose she had seen the congregant beginning to fall and fearing for her own safety, gave him a really hard shove forward so that he’d fall face down instead of backward into her. I wonder if that guy could have then sued her for assault? Something to ponder … ;-)

Um….hmmmm.. I had no idea these kinds of suits were being filed. How do you choose a jury for such a trial? Would you have to prove someone actually caught the holy spirit (not faked it) and thus caused the chain of events prior to the fall? If the person faked the holy spirit, would that person then be liable for negligence? I don’t really know how to process this one. Interesting…

If I walk onto the railroad tracks and the train hits me, is it the train’s fault? The woman was fully aware of what could happen at the service. And she did not place herself in a safe position – that is where she would not be effected by anyone ‘catching the spirit’. Therefore she is as much to blame for any alleged injuries.
