... and we wonder why service jobs keep migrating overseas. Not that we're assured any more quality or less corruption, but at least we get the corruption at a lower price!

Gold man Sachs has along history of campaign donations to both major parties. as a sure bet to win influence in both the WH and Congress..
In the last general election Goldman Sachs contributed to both McCain -Palin ticket and The Obama ticket.
In Britain they have also spent millions in trying to influence banking policy and prevent major changes in financial regulation.

these are the same soulless people that my company, Verizon, is getting it's marching orders from. Goldman wants Verizon to sell it's landline business so that it can shed it's workers pension and healthcare obligations. So a very few people will end up making millions of $$$ and the rest of the masses will suffer with worse phone/tv/internet service. The lowest of the low. oh yeah and if the buying company goes bankrupt a few years down the road then you the taxpayer can pickup the pension/unemployment obligation. Nice, huh?

Why are all the conservatives whinning on this post, when their principle agenda is to make sure no controlls are placed on Wall St? Why is it that the republicans led the charge to give corporations equal rights to invest in elections as voters have? Why is it the the Tea Party is finaced by billionaires (the Koch Bros.)? The posters complaining about corporations giving money to Obama, should remember which party insisted on the corporations right to do that, and the money given to republican canidates are hundreds of times greater then received by Obama. Conservatives would have much more credibility if they actually behaved different than what they accuse the other side of doing

C mack, you are talking about the guy that somehow managed to get over $1 billion to buy the election last time, and then turned around and gave most of his bundlers cushy overpaid government jobs and his donators government contracts (like solyndria).........No one is as corrupt Obama. And btw, why condemn the Koch brothers for being successful. What specifically have they done that is evel........I mean it isn't like they like Obama's puppet masters such as George soros who helped the Nazis against other Jews and made billions destroying other country's economies and now our own (with the help of treasonist Obama), or the Sauds (who have been pulling Obama's strings since atleast his Harvard days) while calling for Sharia law that abuses so many especially women and children, or they are part the rich bankers and financier types (like the creatures of Jeckyll Island and Obama/Geithners family employers). so pray tell do share with us what evel the koch brother have done?

Charles and David Koch, the billionaire conservative oilmen, expect to raise an additional $200 million for other groups opposing Mr. Obama. The disparity leaves the president largely reliant on the tens of millions he is raising for his own campaign to counter an expected onslaught of negative advertising.
