We need to call our legislators and demand that the Fed get their noses out of this industry! They forced banks to finance people who had no business being homeowners and when all of those "tricky" mortgages went into default they then forced the taxpayers to fix the problem. This is CRIMINAL. Now, all of these foreclosed homes are sitting empty, being vandalized, and bringing property values down everywhere because Fannie and Freddie are cheap and greedy. The Federal government needs to stay OUT of the housing industry!!!
