Sign seen in Houston area neighborhood shortly after Hurricane Ike: “Joe Horn lives in this neighborhood. You guess which house.” —- I am surprised and impressed at the lack of criminal activity after this horrible storm hit the Northeast. I tip my hat to you folks. People of New Orleans, take note. Problems with looting will get bad when people run out of drugs and booze. New Orleans had things go wild when the drugs and booze were not available after Katrina. If NYC does not have an inflow of “goods” then all hell will break loose. Turf wars between gangs and low level drug pushers also can start up if supply lines are disrupted and one group has dope to sell and another group does not have any dope to sell.
