Whether it is deep fried or served on a stick, state fairs have a signature style when it comes to serving up summer treats - but does that always mean a serious calorie bomb?

ABC News Nutrition and Wellness Editor David Zinczenko breaks down just how many calories some of these wacky Wisconsin State Fair foods are packing.

On average, the Wisconsin State Fair sells 350,000 cream puffs each year at this 11-day fair. One treat contains approximately 500 calories.

It's all about the filling when it comes to these beer donuts. Estimated at 450 calories, these donuts' jelly fillings are made with seasonal beer.
