United Airlines Rejects $51 Transatlantic Tickets It Sold in Error

Morning Money Memo:

Too good to be true? United Airlines is turning down ticket holders who purchased deeply discounted flights after a computer error. U.S. Equities are up this morning after positive data in European and Asian markets, following a flat day of trading on Wall Street Wednesday.

U.S. jobless claims rose more than expected last week. The Labor Department announced unemployment claims up by 25,000 to 304,000, surpassing analyst estimates.

Reunited and it feels so good. After a 29-year absence, Paul McCartney is once again on the Billboard Top 10. The former Beatles frontman cracked the charts with the song "Four Five Seconds," a collaboration featuring Rihanna and Kanye West. McCartney had graced the Top 10 four times as a solo recording artist and 32 times with the Beatles. His 29-year absence from the Top 10 had been the longest in the list's history.
