This week's
Wednesday Playlist comes courtesy of our Amplified intern, Nick Berger.
We've got some indie rock, a touch of hip hop, and some can't-miss
electro tunes. This electic collection has one thing in common: 2009's
ultimate summer jams.

THE VERY BEST-  Warm Heart of Africa
With Vampire Weekend singer on vocals, this tune proves they really are the very best.

BOYS NOIZE – Jeffer
Not for the faint of heart– this electro jam is a full body experience.

DAS RACIST – Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell
You'll never be able to drive by a combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell without chanting this tune.

BASEMENT JAXX – Raindrops
In the theme of adding an extra "x" to their name, this song is exxcellent.

PASSION PIT – Little Secrets
When that chorus erupts… "higher and higher and higher…" I challenge you to not quit your job and head for the shore.

THUNDERHEIST – Suenos Dulces
The party tune of 2009 in spanglish. Awesome.

YACHT – Psychic City
I dare you to find a more worry-free summer jam.

CHIDDY BANG – Kids
What's better than MGMT's "Kids?" How about Chiddy Bang rapping all over it.

PHOENIX - Lisztomania
The amount of times I've listened to this song is absurd– but each time it gets better.

EASY STAR ALL STARS – Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Covering the Fab Four is no easy task– but this reggae band do it
perfectly. It's a shame John and Paul never used steel drums like this.
