Rainn Wilson defends “Raditude”, attacks the bassoon

Rainn Wilson says the whole kerfuffle, fueled by our friends at Pitchfork, over the title of Weezer's new album is "preposterous." Wilson, who got friendly with Weezer while making this video for his new religion website, was asked to name the band's new album. He came up with "Raditude." See his response to the mini-controversy in this video, shot while I was on set of "The Office" for an upcoming Nightline story.

Rainn! Don’t knock the bassoon! It’s awesome! :)

I agree with him, just because the name is from an unexpected source….
And bassoons are cool! I feel bad for that uncommon instrument right about now…

I’m not sure why we should care about Rainn Wilson and his opinions. He’s an over-the-top ham on The Office, a weak TV show at best. I guess there’s nothing else for the news to report.
