"Ugly Betty's" coming to an end."We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this 'Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion,” executive producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson said in a joint statement released to reporters today. "We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."The news comes two days after America Ferrera told ABC News' "Popcorn With Peter Travers" that despite declining ratings, she's never loved the show more.  "This season, season four, is my favorite season," she said at the Sundance Film Festival. (Her movie, "The Dry Land," premiered at the festival Sunday.) "We've never had lower ratings and I've never been more proud of it. I love being the underdog." Ferrera also hinted at what's to come on season four of "Ugly Betty," though after today's announcement, it wouldn't be a shock if story arcs changed as the series winds down. Check out what she told ABCNews.com: "Ugly Betty" fans: what do you think of the news? How would you want the series to end? Post your thoughts in the comments section below. – Sheila Marikar
