Thought the stars were too cool for QVC? Think again. A slew of celebrities came out to the home shopping giant's pre-Oscar gala at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles Friday, including best supporting actress Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick, Denise Richards, Tila Tequila, and "Entourage" stars Perry Reeves and Rex Lee.Kendrick's "Up in the Air" co-star, Adam Rose — aka Make Out Dave, the guy she gets down with on the dance floor of a tech conference — revealed his favorite among the best picture nominees (apart from his own film, of course."'The Hurt Locker,' he said. "I'm not always into war movies, but 'Hurt Locker' has got to be one of the best ones I've ever seen. Jeremy Renner is incredible." Up next for Rose: "The Bounty Hunter" with Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston. "I play an instigator that sells some information to Jennifer Aniston's character, and she ends up saving my life," he said. "It's pretty amazing to have your life saved by Jennifer Aniston." A bevy of Hollywood newcomers walked QVC's red carpet, including "90210's" AnnaLynne McCord and "Days of Our Lives" actress Shelby Young, who stars opposite Justin Timberlake in David Fincher's "The Social Network," the upcoming film about the making of Facebook. "There's a lot of twists and turns and a lot of interesting things that happen before you get site like Facebook," Young said. "You'd be surprised."At 17, Young pretty much learned how to status update after learning how to walk. She's had her fair share of questionable encounters on Facebook."I had this guy that I didn't know at all request to be in a relationship with me," she said. "I had to deny." Like film fans of all ages, Young's going to have her eyes glued to the red carpet Oscar night. The woman whose style she's excited to see is someone who may not have ever Facebooked at all:"Meryl Streep," she said. "She's amazing."– Sheila Marikar
