Readying for the Oscar Red Carpet

Can't wait for Oscar night to roll around so you can critique the creations that come down the red carpet?Neither can we. So we asked celebrity stylist Nick Verreos, who has dressed Oscar winner Marlee Matlin, competed on "Project Runway" and glammed up everyday women on "The Victory Project," what we should look out for come Sunday. "There's going to be a lot of color," he said. "Red is still very strong, as are metallics and gold. There will be more beaded gowns and much more embellishment. You'll see more oragami pleating detail. Strapless and one shoulder will continue to be trends."Verreos singled out two nominees as ones to watch."Carey Mulligan and Maggie Gyllenhaal are the 'it' girls," he said. "They're the fashionista girls. They're willing to put themselves out there." Who are you looking forward to seeing on Sunday? Post your thoughts in the comments section below.– Sheila Marikar

I’m amazed how far creation can go with wardrobe. It never stops. There’s always new horizons to discover. Congrats to all designers
