It seems very telling that the men have the most crude comments on here. Sexuality of women always makes them uncomfortable on the surface, while it is something they all seem to think about and want to see in movies. The comments on her height probably mean that you are jealous of that genetic trait, too. Being tall is not a precursor for being gay. It IS her personal life, so it should be nobody’s business who she is with and we don’t know if her husband was a total waste of space in her life…she’s the successful one, after all.

A) this is entertainment fluff that has no business on ABC, unless of course, you’ve given up appearing like a reputable news source. B) She is 6 feet tall, NOT 6’5. Does anyone actually do research anymore? C) Her personal life, however messy, has no bearing on J.Crew.

I think the only reason that this is news worthy is that she’s a fake. Who cares If she’s a lesbian. But she’s built her entire career around an image that doesn’t exist. And in doing so has hurt innocent people along the way. NYC and the creative industry is a very small world. This is not the first time I’ve heard questionable things about Ms lyons.

Ya know… I don’t get “grown” people, who should know better, get off calling another person names. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. She looks okay to me. But can you imagine how much this woman might have been bullyed during her life simply because of her height? The bullying continues with some of you saying that the husband should be grateful. Look at your own lives before attacking someone else. This “ugly” “amazon” etc woman has done quite well for herself and is probably much better off than many of you.

Still, they can spread a rumor just as effectively, by adding “Did” to “J Crew president dump(s) husband for woman?”, and at least readers would know that the online news writers actually possess degrees in English and/or Journalism.

Jan Wenner, of Rolling Stone, among others have left their spouse for a same sex new partner.
This indicates underlying bias on the part of the writer.
