Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down on Stage

Jennifer Lopez, who has remained steadfastly silent about her split from husband Marc Anthony this summer, broke down on stage this weekend while performing a song about past love.
The 42-year-old singer-actress was performing Saturday at Connecticut hotel and casino Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary celebration when she broke down in tears and reportedly ran off stage during a performance of her song “Until It Beats No More.”
“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love,” Lopez said to the audience after an acoustic version of her hit “If You Had My Love”. “A lot has changed since then.”
Following the performance of that song Lopez launched into “Until It Beats No More” as dancers who looked like Lopez’s past loves P. Diddy, Ben Affleck and Cris Judd performed choreographed dances.
During the performance the P. Diddy look-alike danced with a woman donning a dress similar to Lopez’s famous slit-down-the-middle Versace gown, while the Affleck doppelganger danced with a woman wearing a green gown similar the one Lopez wore with Affleck to the 2003 Oscars.
According to People magazine, the final dance closely resembled the one performed by Lopez and Anthony on “American Idol” in May.
“I took a trip down memory lane,” Lopez said, and then began to sob on stage.
Lopez was able to make it through a few more songs, but was “out of it,” according to Radar Online.
The “American Idol” judge has had a string of high profile romances throughout her career, with her seven-year marriage to Anthony, with whom she has twins, ending abruptly in July. Since their split she has been linked to actor Bradley Cooper.

“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love,” Lopez said to the audience… (Until It Beats No More, music & lyrics by Troy Johnson, Evan Bogart, Jörgen Elofsson)
– I hate it when people steal other’s credit. Jennifer Lopez doesn’t ‘write’ ANYTHING; she has management that chooses songs for her to perform. This is similar to Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) complaining about the POTUS using ‘his’ song (Real American, music & lyrics by Rick Derringer).

Aaron: Your last sentence was completely unnecessary.

I’m sure people that paid good money to go see her were thrilled when she ran off stage in the middle of one of her songs and then phoned it in for the rest of them. Deal with your personal life on your own time. You’re paid to perform, not whine about your personal life. Maybe if she was a nicer person she wouldn’t have lost all those guys. From what I’ve heard from numerous people (waiters, hotel people, etc.) she isn’t the nicest person in real ife.

Jennifer needs to stay single. The common link between all of her break-ups is her! She’s poison in the relationship department. Men, run as fast as you can!

Guess we got to listen to her on every TV show, crying and balling about her breakup for the next 12 months like Sandra Bullock.

And then she breaks into the next song with gusto! Poor little rich girl with minimal talent. I cry for you too.

I have always thought JLo was a very talented and “real” actress although I understand she can be difficult in her private life; however, if I were at that concert I would have been compassionate and kind — she is obviously still broken-hearted about her break from Anthony. I would have paid to see her in person — and I would have seen her in person. I have always liked her movies — she is incredibly able to BE that character and make you believe the story in the movie — I hope she and Anthony work things out if that is what she wants — she is obviously respecting his affinity for privacy. She must care for the man.
