Six months after their twins were born, music superstar Mariah Carey and actor-comedian Nick Cannon are ready to show “dem babies” off to the world. Carey and Cannon, married since 2008, introduced the babies to Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview airing on “20/20″ Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
The couple shared intimate details about their marriage, their struggle to conceive, Carey’s high-risk pregnancy and how they’re handling being parents to son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, nicknamed Roc and Roe. The babies were born on April 30, the day of Carey and Cannon’s third wedding anniversary.
“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life,” Cannon tweeted that day. “I won’t ever be able to top this!”

“Dem babies?!?” Ignoring the improper English for the moment, I find it very disturbing that the parents of these children would refer to them as “dem babies.” A parent usually calls them “my babies” or “our babies.” “Dem babies” represents a detachment from the children that does not bode well for their upbringing….

Not to be rude but who cares? Women have high risk pregnancy EVERYDAY but they aren’t put on TV or have the money to get a c-section with a tummy tuck, nannies, trainers. Yes it is a beautiful miracle to be able to carry a baby to term and it arrives healthy, because a lot of women aren’t able to go through the joyful act; but its not important to see famous people talk about there babies because it isn’t educating anyone or changing history; again what is the point?! Interview women that are working full time going to school full time, taking care of their parents and still are able to be put their child to sleep after using their last energy to play with them .

Why even comment, if you are going to be rude…..for those of us that want to hear about her pregnancy and her life and those babies and if she refers to them as dem babies who cares, it does not mean a detachment, i think its cute……good luck mariah and nick, much love to you…god bless
