Pippa Middleton’s Passionate Kiss: Who’s the Guy?

ABC News

There was no denying it was Pippa Middleton who turned heads in a plunging red gown outside a charity event in London early Saturday morning.

But who was the 6-foot 3-inch man at her side, engaging the sister-in-law of England’s Prince William in a passionate, 4:30 a.m. kiss?

Sorry scandal lovers.  No gossip here.

That would be Alex Loudon, 31, the former cricketer turned financier who has dated royal-in-law Middleton, 28, for more than three years.

The couple’s passionate kiss was caught by photographers from the Daily Mail while the duo waited for a taxi outside London’s Park Plaza Hotel after attending the Boodles Boxing Ball charity event there.

Middleton was seen looking exhausted and yawning before leaning on her beau, and then, the kiss.

While Middleton and Loudon’s very public PDA proved not much fun for the tabloids, the couple’s appearance at the charity ball did deal a knock-out blow to any lingering suspicions the two were on the ropes.

Those rumors had floated since Middleton’s scene-stealing appearance at the April royal wedding between her older sister, Kate, and Prince William, was said to have torn the couple apart.

At that time, it was Middleton’s derriere in a form fitting Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress that earned her the nickname “Her Royal Hotness,” and started a plastic surgery trend.

This weekend it was her front that stole the spotlight, from the kiss to the daringly low plunging neckline she chose to wear.

Middleton chose to pair her floor-length, red gown with gold heels and a matching gold clutch that, next to the dress, became just accessories indeed.

The glamorous Boxing Ball attended by Middleton and Loudon was also a “Who’s Who?” of other British royals and socials, with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, William’s cousins, among the event’s 850 guests.

Also on hand were Prince Harry’s ex, Chelsy Davy, and former Spice Girl Geri Haliwell.
