I had the honor and outright pride to serve with the world’s finest for my whole adult life. Mr. Timberlake, thank you for recognizing. Mila, you don’t know what you missed. I heard you accepted, then had a schedule conflict. Your loss. Whoever, know this, a Marine’s word is their bond. Whatever scheduling conflict you may have had was not worth breaking your word. Enjoy the freedom you have, courtesy of the Marine you blew off.

My dream date would be none other than miss Raquel Welch. Im a 52 yr old man and I have been a fan of Ms Welch from childhood. No other woman is as beautiful as her. And at 70, YES I would go on a date with her!

I served during the Cold War in the USAF and was awarded SDV status for work on the SAC flight line. I only served four years but have always regreted not staying in for the full 20 years. These Marines are true heroes.

Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, Thank all of you for what you are doing for our country.. I was in the USMC for 10 years.. went to quite a few Marine Corps Birthday Balls, actually went to one last weekend myself. Also, I was the Marine of the Year for my Company in 1985.. (just had to brag).

I think it’s absolutely adorable that Justin & Mila have accepted invites to the military balls. I just hope Mila has the graciousness to end her evening with a goodnight kiss. Kinda feel like Justin missed the mark on that one. Afterall, these are two actors accustomed to smooching people they don’t really know very well when duty calls. Duty called for at least a peck on the cheek here!

You asked who we would like to meet. Being an older women the thought occurred to me yesterday if I could go out with anyone it would be Bill Nighy. The impression he gives in his acting is that he is an intelligent man who would be a lot of fun to spend time with.

I saw this clip on Good Morning America this morning and loved loved it. It was very sweet that Mr. Timberlake took time to do this. I know it would be wonderful to show up at a dance or a ball with someone famous, but my husband and I have been together for seven years now and have not attended even one Military ball. With the cost of the hair, gown, and the cost to get his Class A’s up to date and put together it just never happened.
So for the question of who I would go to a dance or ball with I would have to say my husband. He has worked very hard with his job in the military, and I would feel just like Cinderalla if I were able to attend the up coming Christmas ball with the most wonderful man on the side of me.
