Lady Gaga Wins Four Awards at MTV Europe Music Awards
It was business as usual for Lady Gaga Sunday night at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She picked up a couple of awards, and she wore a really unusual outfit. Gaga was the top winner of the night, receiving four awards. She was named best female, and she won the best song and best video categories for “Born This Way.” She also took the award in the “biggest fan” category, which recognizes artists who have the most committed fan bases. During the broadcast, Gaga performed “Marry The Night” on top of a half-moon structure on the stage. She initially wore a blue circular mask but eventually took it off. Her outfit was a purple, two-circle creation through which her head stuck out in the middle. Justin Bieber, whose girlfriend Selena Gomez hosted the ceremony, won two awards: best male and best pop. He performed during the broadcast, as did Selena. Other performers included Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Adam Lambert, the latter of whom joined Queen for the legendary rock band’s songs “The Show Must Go On,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions.”
