Beyonce may be moments away from having a baby.
Reports are circulating that the 30-year-old singer and actress is in labor. On Tuesday, Media Takeout reported that nurses and security at New York City’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital had been put on “high alert” and told that a very high profile patient would be checking in to deliver a baby. Nurses told Media Takeout that the patient booked half the floor of the hospital’s luxury “Labor and Delivery Suite.”
Beyonce coyly revealed that she and husband Jay-Z were expecting their first child at MTV’s Video Music Awards in August, showing off her growing belly in a flowing Lanvin gown.
Beyonce’s rep did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com’s requests for comment.

since she supposedly booked 1/2 the birthing suite does that mean other women in labor will be sent to other hospitals? How rude and insensitive. She’s so special why? Oh wait – she can AFFORD to do this.

I agree Mary…what the heck are the other mothers supposed to do? I can’t tell you how ticked I’d be if I got sent to another hospital because some hog booked half the floor. What if your insurance doesn’t cover the hospital to which you were sent? What if your doctor doesn’t have privileges there? Rude.

I dont think this story’s is true because I have a family member there. Also, anybody who reads and knows about gossip site knows that Mediatakeout.com is not a reliable source for ANYTHING, but booking half a floor?!! I don’t believe that nor will I believe a hospital let that happen.

Who in the world would quote MEDIATAKEOUT?!!! They are known for taking pictures from other websites and making up stories to go along with it, as well as fabricating stories about celebs. They insinuate celebs have herpes if they have a pimple near their lips, and according to mediafakeout, Beyonce’ has been pregnant every year for the last three years. Other celebs have given birth…you can’t book the birthing unit, that isnt a darned hotel!

Did any of you actually READ the article?? It said she booked half of the “luxury labor/delivery suites” I’m sure she’s not Putting anyone out the hostpital. Those rooms are specially booked for privacy issues like this. Y’all really tried to jump down her throat like she insensitive to others smh. Congrats Jay and Queen B.

the luxury labor/delivery suites are for celebrities so that they can have privacy when they are giving birth.
It does not mean that other expecting mothers may risk having to find another hospital.
Also, it was RUMORED that Beyonce would give birth in February because people were speculating how far along she was by the size of her belly. A little over 2 months ago, Beyonce stated that she was 6 months pregnant in a video. You do the math.

Lmao; people are really arguing over whether she’s really carrying the baby or is it a surrogate. This is OLD. Like really, the only ones who will continue to debate on that issue are the ones who don’t know anything that’s going on BEFORE coming onto the article. Anyways, apparently, she must not be in labor, considering that I would doubt that it’d be that serious for her to book half the floor. It’s sad to see people ACTUALLY come onto Beyonce articles just to talk bad about her. She’s still worth more than you and your hateful comment combined with the rest of them. As you can tell, so far she’s laughed and continued to make money. So, what’s the point?

I am truly shocked by the posts for this article. Beyonce is pregnant – if she is in labor, she is in labor – the labor/delivery suites are for those waiting for the births; therefore will not force any other expecting mama’s to go to a non-participating hospital etc. I am sure hospitals have guidelines they HAVE to legally (and morally) follow – so chill, calm down, not that big of a deal -

FYI – St. Lukes/Roosevelt does not have “luxury” labor suites! It is called the birthing center which has limited numbers of rooms for women who want to give birth in a more comfortable environment with possibly limited interventions so YES I do I have a problem with anybody/celebrity booking up half the rooms when there are many women who were hoping to give birth in one of those rooms which are already limited.

I’m happy for them. In the same breath, I will say no one likes a liar. If you have a baby by surrogate, for whatever reason (no business of anybody but y’all), it’s okay. Just don’t lie about it like you’re the one carrying the baby and putting YOUR body through hell like most women have done. God bless them to raise the baby the right way.
