Making a mistake that can not be taken back does not mean you should continue with it. That makes as much sense as ‘I’m so messed up, I’d rather not clean up but become much more messier’.

What she did is worth praising. May God guide her and her husband to the straight path and keep them guided and May He make decisions that she takes (which makes her become closer to God) easier.

And everyone that is pointing fingers in her direction, lets be clear here – none of us is free of sin.

I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me. About a year ago I my partner split up, we had both made BIG mistakes in our relationship. He ended up moving away from me to pursue a new life. I knew in my heart that he would be the only one to make me happy. I was relieved when I found your email on a site about what you have done. Something tells me we don’t know the whole story of her “leaving” modeling so suddenly. As an aspiring model, you are conscious of the fact that you will be objectified for your body, since it’s what modeling is about in the first place.

Good for HER! Being an honorable woman and honoring your marriage by sharing what should ONLY be seen by your husband with ONLY him is a GOOD THING!!! Victoria’s Secret ads for underwear offend me so much and THIS is why. In the Conservative Christian culture, if you are married, it is a violation of your commitment to GOD and that marriage to show off what should only be seen by one’s husband or wife to other men or women. This is NOT oppressive or wrong. This is our religion, and by the laws of the Constitution, we are free to practice OUR RELIGION. Any of you who believe opposite of this, should go read what “Freedom of Religion” means. YOU are all HYPOCRITES!!!!!!This woman is not trying to press her beliefs on others, but is trying to please God and her husband. You have my respect.

And folks, so she is getting props for simply following her beliefs. Shouldn’t we give equal credit to the models who do show skin since that is in line with their beliefs? and at least their beliefs don’t involve made up fairy tales!

I am still confused though. She is still going to be a model, which is about as shallow and non-christian as can be. I am 100% certain that if Christianity is ‘the way’ that being paid crazy amounts of money solely for how you look and helping sell outrageously expensive clothes is not something that will get you through the gates.

Despite what others are saying I applaud Kylie. For those who’ve looked down upon her saying “she must have known that she would be modeling lingerie”. Yes, I’m sure after striving after her chosen career choice, as her lives ambition for so long, she would understand this, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have the abiltiy to have a change in heart and deeper relationship with God and a deeper understanding of what he calls her to do. She came to the realization that God created with the intention to share our bodies and souls with one person forever. He knew us before conception, and we were made in his image, we are beautiful and our bodies are sacred, meant to be consumned by the love of our Lord, and the true intermingling of two souls, molding them into one. As a fellow daught of Christ I smile and rejoice with Kylie as she further her relationship with the Lord, and I don’t think she should be ridiculed for letting her love and fathfullness to God and her husband shine through her.

It was a horror watching her “model” on the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. I’m happy to see her go, and hopefully someone who wants it more than her will have the opportunity that wasn’t meant for her.

Looking over the comments, I am reminded of history and how some of us change with the times and some stay with the eternal verities that seem to uphold creation. I suppose it is what one sees within that determines what they see without and respond accordingly. Eteranal verities, just for clarification mean the essence that allows creation to continue and be as ii is without judgment. I particulaly liked the comments about not judging and also doing thins that later we realize are not for our best or highest well-being.
