Madonna surprised fans at Miami's Ultra music festival Saturday night when she took the stage with DJ Avicii to debut his remix of her latest single, "Girls Gone Wild." Though her thigh-grazing hot pants may have revealed a little more of her rear than desired, the Material Girl beamed before the crowd of electronic music fans and declared, "Electronic music has been a part of my life since the beginning of my career. I can honestly say that a DJ saved my life."
The 53-year-old mother of four has been on a tear promoting her new album, "MDNA," out today. During a Saturday night Facebook chat with Jimmy Fallon, her only sit down ahead of "MDNA's" release, she said she collaborated with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj on "Give Me All Your Luvin" "because they're bada** bitches. They're both smart, clever. They have strength. They don't just play on their sexuality."
Madonna embraced the Internet in other ways, too. While "MDNA" is available everywhere, the deluxe edition is selling for half price, $7.99, at retail start up Fab.com. Ashton Kutcher tweeted about the collaboration this morning, writing "I think MDNA taking over http://fab.com for the day is pretty bada[**]"
