Sofia Vergara Thinking About Freezing Her Eggs?

“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara is approaching her 40th birthday with an eye on family matters of her own. In an interview with the April issue of InStyle, the Colombian actress said that although she has no firm plans to have children with her boyfriend Nick Loeb, she might have a stand-by idea: “I guess I am going to think about freezing my eggs.”

Speaking about her relationship with businessman Loeb, Vergara said, “The most important thing was that he was very handsome.”  She soon discovered he was also “very funny, talking s**t to me like a normal person.”

The former model also opened up about a tragedy which hit her hard in 1998, when her brother Rafael was kidnapped and killed. She talked about how her family — in particular her 19-year-old son, Manolo — kept her going through tough times. “You can’t just sit in your house and think about the tragedy,” she said, “That’s when people get depressed and their lives stop.”
