I love the people who say Community is not that great. Basically, what they’re admitting to is that they don’t have the intellectual firepower to keep up with its pacing or understand its concepts. It’s the classic “attack what you don’t understand” tactic. As for Chevy, it’s too bad he and the creator don’t get along because Community has given him an opportunity to do some of the best work of his career. Since it’s an ensemble, he can be removed and the dynamic will change but not be destroyed. The show is good enough to survive the hit.

What I find most disturbing is the trend to drag everyone into the fight. Surely Chevy’s family did not deserve this. This should have been reserved for the actor himself .

Actually Community is a great show, and having Chevy kicked off would put a large kink in it’s success going forward I think. FYI RIBZILLA not all “great” shows last as long as Seinfeld, that doesn’t mean they’re no good.

Community is not that great, so no big loss. However, Chevy Chase has always carried an arrogance that by far and away excedes any talent that he may have to back it up. He had one good season on SNL, and that’s about it. Wake up, old man! Be lucky you got the gig in the first place. Doesn’t seem like producers are lining up outside your door!

Let’s face it, it was never a great show, or even a good show.

There’s a reason why we still watch Seinfeld reruns.

Chevy has always been a little “touchy” (see SNL or Howard Stern). No big deal for Community. If they get picked up and the feud isn’t settled, they’ll just kill him off and have a funny, farewell episode.
