Brendan Fraser is suing the producers of a film he says he was hired to star in, claiming he is owed money for the project even though, the complaint states, it is has been shelved for now.
According to TMZ.com, Fraser says his contract for “The Legend of William Tell: 3D” calls for him to be paid $2.25 million, regardless of whether the film is made. He seeks that amount, plus additional damages.
One of the producers tells TMZ, “Unfortunately, Mr. Fraser does not seem to be interested in making the movie as a 2D film as the producers intend to do.”
