My sister unselfishly donated one of her health kidneys to me on April 27, 1983. That is nearly 30 years ago!!! I adopted one daughter before the transplant and gave birth to my second daughter after my transplant. I have been married 38 years and we now have a granddaughter. Due to the desease I have, I am now on a heart transplant list, but still am abe to live, love, and laugh. So Sarah you will now feel healthy and lead a full and wonderful life. I am praying for you. At 36 years old I have two children, but now I have tubes and a urine bag as I wait to hear about what needs to be done to fix a blocked ureter. Just want to let Sarah know that she has accomplished a lot and will accomplish a lot more if she stays positive and keeps making her dreams a reality.
