Mary-Kate Olsen and new French beau Olivier Sarkozy, who is 16 years her senior, raised eyebrows when they were spotted in New York this week with his young daughter.

Olsen, 26, relaxed as she chatted on her phone while smoking a cigarette with Sarkozy and his daughter with ex-wife Charlotte Bernard, a children's book author. Sarkozy, 42, the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, is the managing director of the Carlyle Group, a global asset management firm.

Olsen and the young girl, who are approximately the same height, looked as if they could be sisters as they walked with Sarkozy's arms around them in New York's West Village June 14.

The billionaire former child star, who has now moved into the fashion world, recently won the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Womenswear Designer of the Year for 2012 along with her twin sister, Ashley. The two are currently launching a new collection in the U.K. called StyleMint.

The couple has reportedly been dating since April, when they were seen at a New York Knicks game.
