MOBALAJEE – maybe Octomom should have considered how she was going to take care of her first 6(!) kids prior to getting artificially inseminated with the remaining 8?? Did you ever consider this? A lot of moms are actually responsible and consider what type of future they want for their kids prior to having them. This DID NOT happen in this case. I call complete #### on that one.

@Tamera, but how many of them can you name that have 14 children to feed and clothe, with 8 of them being the same exact age? I’m not saying it’s the ideal option. I’m just saying no one should criticize how anyone else chooses to earn a (legal) living. One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing mothers slam other mothers (and not just over topics such as this). How often do you hear a father insult another? Not very. Women need to get the fairy tale of the perfect mother out of their heads, because there isn’t a such thing. No two mother/child relationships are even remotely alike. I can’t and won’t sit here and pretend to know the best way for Nadya to raise her kids, because I don’t know her kids. Only she does. But I think it’s safe to assume that they’d be a lot more ashamed of looking back on their childhoods and remembering going to bed hungry, or without running water, then they would of realizing that their mom did everything in her power to provide these necessities for them. I don’t believe that she came to this decision lightly. Maybe she felt like she had no other choice.

There are thousands of mothers with jobs that do not require them to share their nudity with the world yet they are still able to feed & clothe their children. Being a stripper is not the only option when wanting to attend college and/or take care of children.

Can’t and won’t knock a mom for trying to support her kids, no matter how she chooses to. I think it’s ridiculous that Nadya Suleman gets slammed for this, when Kate Gosselin allowed a known pedophile to edit years of footage of her children in various forms of undress. NS isn’t pimping her kids out. She’s pimping herself out. Maybe not the most moral way to earn a living, but surprise. There are thousands of mothers across this country that dance for a living, and use that cash to financially sustain their families. People don’t feel bad for Nadya concerning this. They feel bad because it’s money from their wallets. What do you expect she do with 14 kids? She can’t fix the past or change what’s been done. All she can do is move forward. Give her a break. She’s trying.
