Contrary to reports, Charlie Sheen did not trash a Ritz-Carlton hotel room during his recent trip to New York.

In a statement to ABC News, the Ritz-Carlton said their midtown Manhattan hotel was in "pristine condition" after Sheen's stay and the hotel "would be delighted to host" the actor again.

Sheen was in New York to promote his new FX series, "Anger Management," which premieres tonight at 9 p.m. While in New York, he also spent time with ex-wife Denise Richards and their daughters, Sam and Lola.
