Colbie Caillat was belting out her hit song, “Bubbly,” at a concert in Pittsburgh this week when bugs swarmed around the singer and disrupted the performance.
“I’m so sorry but this is really scary,” she said to the audience, swatting the insects away. “Sorry, but I don’t know if I can keep singing you guys. Can I go?”
Caillat’s fans had been singing along with her right as the bugs descended. The singer quickly stepped back from the microphone to take cover.
The crowd laughed and cheered her on and then Caillat resumed the show. Thursday, she made light of it all on her Facebook page, writing: “Oh my goodness. I am traumatized from the bazillion bugs that were literally raining on me from the sky while singing on stage in Pittsburgh on Tuesday!!”
