Looks like the whining is spilling over here.

It’s pretty obvious from this article that the site disabled reviews because they couldn’t keep up with moderating them. Conspiracy talk just makes you a joke at this point. Oh, and thanks for leaving your reviews about the reviews about this movie. I totally care what some random is saying about some other random said about a movie I plan to judge on my own anyway. Obviously the answer to poor criticism is more criticism.

I always wander how movie critics make a living because every time they say a movie is bad that movie makes millions. The average american doesn’t care what critics have to say yet they still hold their jobs

I can’t believe any credible journalist would put this in any article, let alone a movie review. I don’t care what the review was, have some professionalism for crying out loud.

When have “professional” movie critics (joke of a profession anyway) – EVER given “accolades” to Comic-Con type movies? … and who – under age 60, even uses a critic review to decide on seeing movie? Remember – these are the same clowns who would award an Oscar to Halle Berry for Monster’s Ball. Who cares?

There is no such thing as “freedom of speech” on a web site accessible by the public. People confuse this aspect of the internet all the time. If I owned a web site that allowed comments, I have every right to not publish them.

It has an 86% on the site so far, which is pretty good for a summer blockbuster. But apparently not good enough for people who haven’t even seen it yet. Hate is bad enough in politics where stuff actually matters. But this is truly ridiculous.

right, ban people’s comments and don’t even consider that perhaps people are sick of cynical self-important reviewers who use their corner of power in the world to please themselves at the actor’s and artist’s expense. I’m tired of people like Lemire who have substituted genuine constructive criticism of a movie for flip writing tricks and sarcastic reviews driven by their own egos in an attempt to make themselves look brilliant.

Why do they even have anything up about the movie if it hasn’t been released yet? Their site reviews movies, so if they post anything contrary to that, then they are only doing so to get ad clicks.
