How do idiots get to write for a major news outlets as ABCNews?

Reviews have been less than kind? Can writers actually do some real reporting? If the writer had even bothered to do leg work, err, I mean mouse clicking, he’d find that, as someone already pointed out, that the reviews have been OVERWHELMINGLY positive!

How that turned into reviews being mostly negative is that this writer just happened to skim the headlines of what happened to be a non-story (TDKR fans posting adolescent like comments and threats in response to a pair of reviewers who left negative reviews), and regurgitated that out as “reviews have been less than kind.” And to make matters worse, The Huffington Post picked up this story and is propagating this lazy piece of journalism, err, I mean pseudo-journalism.

Shame, shame, shame on ABCNEWs.

Actually, if the reviews of a movie have been “less than kind,” it’s usually a sure fire indicator that it’s a good film. Professional movie critics hate movies.

“Reviews for the movie have been less than kind” – this makes it sounds as though the general consensus among reviewers/critics for the movie has been negative, where as in reality it is only true for a very small minority of reviews. Please consider clarifying the statement/ making a correction. Thank you.

It’s at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and 80 on Metacrtic (Avengers was 60). How had the overall reviews been “less than kind?”
