Glover had been on life support after the accident. WSB-TV in Atlanta reports he died of heart failure.

Glover was riding on an inner tube with a teenage girl when they were struck by the jet ski, reportedly driven by a family friend, Jeffrey S. Hubbard. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.

Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told ABCNews.com that authorities are still looking into Hubbard and the incident following Glover's death.

"The investigation is still ongoing. We will continue to gather findings and give them to the district attorney, and see what course we will take," Sgt. Burgamy said Monday. "There may be changes in what charges will be filed."
