Kate Bosworth has casually announced to the world that she is engaged to her beau, Michael Polish.

The 29-year-old actress has written a travel diary for Vogue.com, on which she mentions, "On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace." She doesn't elaborate on the engagement.

Bosworth was first romantically linked to the 41-year-old Polish, who directed her in the upcoming film "Big Sur," last summer. She was previously linked to actors Orlando Bloom and Alexander Skarsgard.
