I totally agree, this is NOT news. Maybe news, to high school students but really this is not what I want to see on ABC news. This is ridiculous, I can’t even believe they put this on air. ABC should be talking about the election, or how to make the economy better. But what does ABC do? Talk about someone who drinks and parties is having a kid?!

who gives a d**n about Snooki??? I know a lot of people that have had babies and they are not on the news for weeks on end. Her baby is not any more special that the other thousand babies that are born! get a life people!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!! lets put some real news on that we need to read about!!!!!!!

When I was growing up in the upper South during the late ‘50’s and early ‘60’s, any woman having a child out-of-wedlock would’ve been viewed as having loose morals and the child would’ve been considered illegitimate (or a bastaard if the family was really low class — I know it’s misspelled, but my comment will be rejected otherwise). Such was the ultimate shame that tainted the entire family. Now it’s viewed as “no big deal.” After nearly 30 years as a middle school teacher, many of my colleagues and I can attest that the demise of the traditional family is more than evident in the behavior and work ethic of students today. How times have changed, and not necessarily for the better.
