Chelsea Handler on Katie this week inspired me to be strong and tell my story. Her story is similiar to mine. I always felt loved but my parents but they were so absent that it is very hard for me to talk about in normal conversations when you meet people and they ask questions about your family. I realize I raised myself and that’s not easy to deal with on a daily basis today! Somehow I’ve made it, but it’s a daily struggle. Thank God for good friends who help hold you up!

DEMI LOVATO IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON AND SHE LOOKS GREAT JUST THE WAY SHE IS. Beauty is on the inside and is a BONUS being on the outside. Demi has a beautiful heart, you can tell in her music. Anyone who has a problem with how Demi looks think long and hard about why you are taking it out on her and look into your struggles. Bulimia and Anorexia are very hard disorders to live with and the social media and fashion industry put too much pressure on women and even on men to look a certain way. If people would take more consideration for other people’s feelings and keep their mouths shut and a lot more people would still be alive right now.

Wow, it saddens me to see just how uneducated individuals are regarding ED (eating disorders). If we had more people like Katie who would open up about their struggles with ED and how she survived it, then maybe we could help others with this terrible disease and save lives. Unfortunately, I know first hand of the consequences of ED, I lost my 29 year old daughter in March of this year from ED. She struggled with bulimia for 16 years, but only opened up about it 7 years ago. IF ONLY WE WERE EDUCATED ABOUT EATING DISORDERS, maybe, just maybe, we could have picked up on some of the behaviors and we would still have our beautiful daughter today. This is a terrible disease and not an easy one to”cure”. Kudos to you Katie.

Katie Couric went on a downward spiral the day she left The Today Show. CBS could not get rid of her quick enough, and now she has her own talk show like every other celebrity.

Honestly Katie what are you doing? You are not a therapist, and to bring up your struggles with you weight/self esteem to draw out your guests, only makes one wonder – what will you say if you have the opportunity to interview OJ Simpson. C’mon – if you want to host a talk show, then try to do it in a less one-upmanship sort of way.

Ms. Lovato’s problem with bulimia is but one manifestation of a much larger and exponentially more concerning issue: self abuse. What with a history of “cutting,” physical violence, obsessive behavior, violent and unstable relationships and swings between depression and anxiety, Ms. Lovato probably fits most of the major criteria for Cluster B Personality Disorder – primarily Borderline but no doubt sufficient accompaniements not uncommonly found in this grouping including Antisocial, Narcissiistic and Histrionic features.

Ms. Lovato, please avail yourself of all of the psychotherpy you can possibly afford – otherwise you will leave a landscape strewn with the wreckage of human lives.
