Why did she exactly pick 30 years and not 10, 20 or 40?

Is it because this week marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Madonna’s “Everybody,” the first single she ever released?

Gaga’s illusions of grandeur have now become so pathological that she actually thinks she *is* Madonna.

Her 5 minutes are very nearly up. She’d better hurry up and get on that stage with Madonna so she can get her kiss of death from the true Queen of Pop already.

I mean, I am a Lady Gaga fan, but I don’t condone wearing real fur, nor do I condone smoking marijuana and taking drugs. I’ve listened to Lady Gaga’s music since she first came on to the scene, and listened to the songs she created before Fame, but I haven’t become like her. I still have my own identity, and for all the people out there who think they are being brainwashed, or that people around them are being brainwashed, you really ought to focus on what you’re actually afraid of. It doesn’t make sense to think that one single person can control your whole life.

I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with this concept of a role model. If you are intelligent, or if your children are intelligent, then there should be no worry – you can appreciate someone for their music, their look, their artistry, but you CAN overlook their qualities which you disagree with.

Okay – you might not like Lady Gaga for the way she dresses, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to brainwash you or your children. Believe in yourself. You’re not that weak! You can make your own decisions on what to do with your life… what someone else is doing to their own does not mean you will subconsciously become like them as long as you have control. No-one else can control your mind. We shouldn’t be in a culture where we’re afraid of expression.

@MINDYOUROWNBUSINESS2 it’s even more naive and even cynical to assume that all they care about if money. especially someone like gaga who works very hard and obviously puts a lot of effort and passion into what she does and could easily make money and easier way if she wanted to. but the point is, at least she is helping people, more than other pop stars have done. and just because she’s in the music business doesn’t mean she also can’t be an artist. art and business don’t have to be mutually exclusive. just because someone is successful doesn’t mean they only care about money.
