Camera man Herb Forsberg thought he was going on just another shoot. Little did he know he was about to become part of the story.

As Elizabeth Vargas and a "20/20? crew prepared for an interview with Theresa Caputo, the star of "Long Island Medium" on TLC, Caputo began asking questions of the crew.

Forsberg found that he was the one with the answers.

Caputo asked if someone had something special belonging to someone else. Forsberg said he did: his deceased father's ring, which he now wears as his own wedding ring.

Caputo said that his father was making his presence known in the room and later added that she heard a jingling sound, as if someone was jingling change in their pocket. Forsberg confirmed that, in fact, that was a habit of his father's.

Caputo next asked if Forsberg named someone after his father. Forsberg said that he named his son, Herbert Forsberg III - whom Caputo had met earlier on the shoot - after his dad. (Camera man Forsberg's full name is Herbert Forsberg II and his father was Herbert Forsberg I.)

"Your father was kind of funny," Caputo told Forsberg. "He goes, 'Theresa … My son doesn't even believe this.' He goes, 'I don't even believe I am doing this.' He goes, 'I can't believe I am talking from the other side.'"

"My initial reaction was one of excitement," Forsberg later said of Caputo's reading. "I would like to believe that there are the souls of my loved ones that are looking out for me."

But he does have some skepticism about the experience, noting that Caputo asked some vague questions before finding someone - Forsberg - to respond to them.

"I'm a person who is on the fence - who is undecided about the paranormal," he said. "I'm not convinced that she's a charlatan, nor am I convinced that everything she said was going on. I don't know."
