Octomom Nadya Suleman Checks Into Rehab

The Octomom is in rehab. Nadya Suleman checked into the Chapman House Treatment Center last week to deal with “anxiety, exhaustion, and stress” stemming from an addiction to Xanax.
“Ms. Suleman has been taking Xanax that was prescribed by her doctor to deal with her anxiety but she felt she needed a treatment program to help with her recovery,” her representative said in a statement to ABCNews.com. “She will be in treatment for 28 days or more if needed.”
The rep noted, “Although the rehab offered to treat her at no charge, Ms. Suleman opted to pay for the program.”
Suleman reportedly left her 14 children in the care of three nannies and a couple of friends. She filed for bankruptcy earlier this year but appears to have come into cash after launching her adult film career. Earlier this month, she gave the website Rumorfix a tour of her new, 5,000-square-foot Palmdale, Calif. home.

Yeah, I notice that ‘celebrities’ often go into rehab right about the time they have a movie, album, or book coming out, It is ridiculously stupid. I’d expect her first adult movie is either out or she is trying to get some hype for it to boost sales. Ghetto publicity.

This woman is so stupid and an incredible loser. That doctor who implanted those eggs needs to be paying child support. She was getting $2,000 a month in food stamps at one time; I wonder exactly how much taxpayers are paying for her and her brood.

The doctors think it’s alright to give someone anxiety medication or any sort of mind altering medication for that matter. These medications are worse than some illegal drugs. I decided to stop taking all anxiety medications I was given and I feel much better without them. I think Ms. Suleman needs a change of lifestyle and some sort of counseling/mental rehabilitation.

I think she was legitimate and doing what the doctors advised in taking the Zanax, however the doctors could have easily reduced her dose, to zero use, gradually, and rehab wouldn’t have been in the cards. She should have consulted her physican before over reacting and worrying herself into rehab, but anxiety and stress is a real disorder, and she displayed one of the key reactions to this disorder.

Ok, I can understand being addicted to xanax and needed rehab. Thats great that she decided enough was enough and needs help. But lets look at the picture here. She was put on xanax because of the stress. She is one woman with 14 kids in the house struggling. Thats a big stress load. Now she will do her 28 days of (relaxation therapy) and learn how to do breathing excersise, and in my case when I did rehab they advice you to STAY away from drugs (I also did illegal drugs) and dissosiate with other drug users and avoid those areas. Kinda like the alcholic in recovery is to avoid bars after his detox treatment. But when she gets released….she is going back to those 14 kids again, the media now is going to have a field day haunting her house (especially since she gloated where she moved at and how the house looks inside), and what is she going to do for work now. I am not a mind reader or can tell you whats going to happen but I got a hunch she is going to relapse. But her records will say she was addicted to “xanax” so chances are no doctor going to prescribe her that or any other type of medication in that field. She will do what I did (I am being honest), she will search for OTHER drugs (chances are it will be in the illegal) field. Anything to make the stress stop and it won’t. This is a very sad case. I feel sorry for the kids.

She has 14 kids that she can’t afford. Of course she has stress, exhaustion, etc. etc. But what really gets me is that the rehab clinic said they wouldn’t charge her for it. I can’t believe they actually said it would be at no charge! She’s agreeing to pay for it, but how can she do that?!?

I try not to judge if she neeeds rehab she needs rehab. I personally feel doctors are way to easy with the narcotic drugs. And they dont regulate them when you take them. Oh and the next doctor wont know she had an addiction problem if she dont want him too. Any part of your medical record could be sealed or not disclosed if you dont want it too. Believe me when I was addicted and got off my next phyc doc had no Idea i was addicted until I told him. They only ask your history and if you dont tell them it they dont know. And even after tellinng him he still said it might be ok. As long as I dont abuse them. Well isnt that what an addict does abuse drugs.

Mother of the Year! 14 kids will cause stress and even anxiety. But she will do anything to stay in the spotlight. It is all about her, not the kids….
Prescription drugs rehab. That means she abused the drugs and was not taking them as prescribed.
Why isn’t someone in jail for “creating” all these children.

Through the welfare system, we were paying this woman to support her pregnancy fetish, neglect her children, use drugs and play with herself. The person who made a porno with her in it should be brought to jusitice for exploiting the mentally unfit. This woman is sick. Stop using the pathetic wretch for entertainment.

You don’t think that caring for- and trying to pay for- 14 young kids while being publicly maligned is stressful? She did a colossally stupid thing due to being emotionally messed up. There’s no way to go back and fix that mistake, so why keep hammering her about it? She’s trying to make a living without any appreciable skills or talent. She didn’t set out to be famous or have 8 babies, but that fame is all she has. If anyone has any ideas for how she can earn huge amounts of money without allowing herself to be exploited, I’m sure she’d love to hear them.
