Though the "X Factor" judge made a big splash teaming with Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am for "Scream and Shout," a new dance song off Will.i.am's new album, "Willpower," what really made headlines when the pair debuted the song's video this week was Spears' toned and trimmed figure.
The singer, 30, and a mother of two young boys, was known for her hard body when she burst onto the pop scene as a teenager and now, donning a tight black skirt and a long-sleeved, midriff-baring top, she's proving she's still got it.
So how did Spears, who was famously known for doing 1,000 crunches per day to maintain her toned abs, get her body back?
"Britney actually works out every day [for] 30 minutes at least of cardio and running," Raha Lewis of People magazine told " Good Morning America." "She says she feels on top of the world after she's done it."
After suffering a very public nervous breakdown in 2008, Spears took time to rehab her image and her personal life, including becoming engaged to her former manager, Jason Trawick, last year.
The two have yet to tie the knot but Trawick is reportedly a factor in helping Spears maintain a healthy and active lifestyle today.
"Britney and her fiancé, Jason, work out together. They go on walks together," People's Lewis said. "She has a lot on her plate but she's most definitely committed to her fitness."
Spears will turn 31 this Sunday and may not be dishing out birthday cake on her big day. The singer has revealed she eliminated sugar from her diet - including her favorite guilty pleasure, caramel chocolate - and eats chicken, salmon, rice and avocados instead.
She said that working out does not always come easy to her, but it always feels like an accomplishment once she's done.
"Sometimes it's hard to be motivated," she told Stylist magazine last year. "But once you get up and do it, you feel like you've conquered the world."
