Kim Kardashian’s Heart ‘Completely Broken’ After Kitten ‘Mercy’ Dies

Kim Kardashian’s beloved white kitten that has been featured in many of the reality star’s Instagram pictures has died.
“It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away. My heart is completely broken,” Kardashian wrote on her blog Friday.
According to her blog, Kardashian didn’t realize she was allergic to cats when she first got Mercy.

“I had fallen SO in love with Mercy that I wanted to try everything I could to keep her, but I didn’t think it was safe to resort to injections, and it wasn’t fair on Mercy, because I couldn’t play with her or give her as much attention as I wanted to,” Kardashian wrote. “Mercy deserved a mom who could really give her the time and affection she deserved.”

She gave the kitten to her sister Khloe’s assistant, Sydney, who just lost a cat.
However, Mercy got sick with a “stomach problem that they were not aware of” and the feline died.
“It broke not only my heart that little Mercy died at only four months old, but Sydney’s too. Mercy was a gentle and loving kitten and we are all going to miss her so much,” Kardashian wrote.

This woman is a moron and a menace to all living things. She also annoying, vapid and useless. All she had to do was take a benedryl and wash her hands before she touched her face. She treated the animal as though it was an accessory not a living breathing pet. Even is she had become physically ill from an allergy, she could have found a better home for the poor thing. It’s clear no one notice if the kitty was eating and drinking or not. At that small size they can so south very quickly if there is no one who notices.
She should be banned from ever owning a pet or having a child. She’s so wrapped up in herself and her image she sees nothing.

The only thing worse than ABC thinking someone would care is that some people actually do.
Our society has become celebrity worshipers. English royalty sneezes and half of the US grabs a hanky. Some singer dies and people wear black armbands for a month. Some athlete gets arrested and people want to hang all cops. Some actress has a baby and fans send gifts.
People want to eat what their heroes eat, wear what they wear, drive what they drive and live their lives.
It’s sad that her cat died, more sad is that people who never met her will mourn for it.

This is what is wrong with our society. That we would even deem a story like this to be news worthy! A very rich, spoiled person, completely out of touch with the reality of how “normal” people live their lives, feels the need to express her “deep sorrow” about her cat!
There are people and family’s losing their jobs and homes and ending up on the streets during these times. AND she wants sympathy because her cat died. Disgusting!

I would just like to say that those of you who are so angry over Kim’s publicity are the ones who really have a problem. Every celebrity whether famous for something amazing or not gets publicity.. Kim is not the only one. Kanye gave her the kitten and the kitten was ill before he gave it to her. I work with pets and I know the tragedy of animals with fatal illnesses. I think that anyone on here saying that this kitten died because of Kim is extremely cruel. This was unfortunate for Kim and is just as unfortunate for anyone out there who gets an animal that is sick and has to be euthanized. I commend her for giving the kitten away to a friend upon realizing how allergic she was. Given the manner in which she received the kitten…I highly doubt she’d want to give her away for any other reason.

I agree that it is not correct to use the death of a kitten for publicity but how is this not a real problem? I know from experience just how painful it can be to have a pet (Or ,like me, pets) die and it is not pathetic to mourn, eve if they are a former pet. Although I love animals I can’t believe this is actual news. REALLY? Dec. 5th 2012 I lost my best friend to breast cancer. Just 30 yrs ols. Two days later Dec. 7th 2012 I lost my grandmother. Today Iwe are buring my best friend and tomorrow my grandmother. Those K’ girls are so fake. Makes me sick. There are more things going on in this world that are news worthy. …Since this was deemed “newsworthy” by the editors… did anyone check to see how that cat was “lost”??? Irresponsible care? … or just maybe the cat died of an illness the cause of which was still viable in the home and the kitten then contracted it too. …(… just sayin’…) perhaps “inconvenient”, …”accessory pets” should not be casually passed along to those who have just “lost” a pet.

Interesting – All these Kim hating comments about this not being news….Evidently, It was news since everyone here accessed the article.
Not sure why I looked at the article myself. I think I was just interested to see what staff member was supposed to be taking care of the cat and see if that person got canned. The Kardashians don’t appeal much to me BUT most everything they endorse or sell turns into gold and they do have a multi, multi million dollar empire.

The cause of death of Kim´s kitten has been wet FIP, which kills millions of cats -the virus that causes it doesn´t make difference between breed, feral, or street cats-. If Kim wanted she could really make a difference by helping to raise awareness about it.
