Where is K. Dot? his album was hands down number one. I like some of the albums on the list, but its missing Good Kid, Maad City! Smh

This is defiantly HIS favorite list of albums of 2012. I mean where’s Taylor Swift or Bruno Mars. They had some great albums too. While some of the albums here are not that good!!

Anti-climatic? Be proud for listing Regina Spektor as number 1!! Any list is subjective and there is no universal right or wrong for EVERYONE. What a boring world it would be if we all agreed on the same things. Even with that said, it does bring a unique warm feeling to my heart from knowing that there is actually someone out there who share the same enthusiasm as I do about Regina Spektor’s “What We Saw From the Cheap Seats”. It is my favorite of album of 2012; along with Jack White’s “Blunderbuss” which was not mentioned here.

I agree with the above poster. This is a pretty well rounded list. I can’t believe how many people are complaining about people left off the list when they didn’t even put out a record this year (Adele, Wilco etc.) Your musical ignorance/lack of knowedge doesn’t make this a bad list. Honestly, if you haven’t even heard of Regina Spektor who has been releasing critically acclaimed albums one after the other for 10 years then maybe it’s time to stop talking about music and start listening to it to catch up a bit.
