Rosies last adoption agency [now out-of-business], had already promoted child stealing. So this type of stuff is right up her alley...

I wonder how many of those who have commented on this have any experience with adoption...

As an adoptee, I feel confident that her children are happy with their financial security. The best schools and top medical care will always be provided for them. And while many see this untraditional family as "unstable", I would hope you would consider the alternative. Many birth moms are young and single, and quite frankly, not prepared to raise a child. Social beliefs aside, I think it is obvious that Rosie has the means to provide and care for a child.
Most celebrity adoptions are closed adoptions, meaning that the birth mom does not have knowledge of whom her child is being placed with. Any reference to a birth mom placing for inheritence reasons is quite incorrect.
I challenge you to go find an adopted person and question them to their feelings about this placement. I also challenge you to put aside your homophobia and simply say "congratulations" on the building of a family,

A baby may seem to be a quick fix, but the glow wears off. These woman need love and validation from a baby. The children grow to become the glue that holds these fragile unions together. Before we go all total acceptance on gay marriage, could we have some honest insight into what lesbians relations are about - sexually and the rest? Who wants to put the stamp of approval on a mystery, when kids may be involved.

I often wonder if celebrities are able to adopt babies so easily from pregnant women because of the money angle and the possibility the baby will eventually be very wealthy through inheritance. (This is possibly uncharitable of me and if so I apologize. I hope I am wrong.) Eventually, the birth mother might need financial help e.g.medical care and, if they have kept up some kind of communication with the child, they allowed someone else to adopt, would be able to get help from a very rich son or daughter, as in this case. Kind of an insurance policy of sorts and definitely a big plus for rich celebrities to make it easier to adopt.

As far as I'm concerned this is the one that society "is letting get away" and will be viewed in the future in a very bad light. Were we blind in the early 21st century? This is idiotic.

Amy, you ask how they were able to adopt, given their severe medical conditions. It's called "Money Talks".
