Retouching portrait photos was standard practice long before computers & Photoshop were around. Airbrushing, photo dyes & brushes and matt spray with colored pencils were commonly used. Have a close look at any old family portrait from a photography studio. This is not new and neither is it news.

Of course it is photoshopped. In real life she is in color, not black and white. It is obvious :-)

Jennifer Lawrence, although beautiful, isn’t that “classic” beauty. She’s beautiful in a “girl-next-door” kind of way. But most of all, we like her because she has talent, she can ACT. Advertisers should understand this and work on selling their products with her endorsement based on this fact. Similar stars like Renee Zellweger (sp) had similar beauty and mis-marketed themselves.

She is exceptionally attractive and she seems grounded. My wife & I loved Silver Linings and her character was a big part of it. I hope she has many more personal & professional successes.

Lawrence is dull as dirt; she should stick to cliche poses. Her teenage followers think her ‘look’ is cool. Her pathetic acting did not win the Oscar, studio heads see a marketing product for kids.
