A lawyer for Lindsay Lohan today dismissed media reports that the actress rejected a plea deal from California prosecutors in her California car crash case.

"Tomorrow morning we'll be meeting with prosecutors to see what might be facilitated," the lawyer, Mark Heller, told ABCNews.com. "If nothing is facilitated, we will move forward with the trial. Right now it's in the early stages. We haven't met yet."

Heller is due in court in Los Angeles Friday morning for a pre-trial hearing in the case. Lohan is not required to appear for the pretrial hearing, but must be in court for the trial, which is tentatively set for March 18.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that Lohan had rejected a deal from prosecutors to go to rehab for 60 days in lieu of a trial and possible jail time, but Heller says the website's account is false.

The upcoming trial is related to the misdemeanor charges the actress faces in connection with her car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in June. She has pleaded not guilty to lying to police, driving recklessly and obstructing an officer from doing his duties.

But because Lohan was still on probation for a 2011 necklace theft case, her probation was revoked in December as a result of the charges stemming from the accident.
