I have a great idea for a new movie. Sean Penn and Danny Glover star in “Weekend at Hugo’s”. A pseudo-sequel to Weekend at Bernie’s, where they will be propping up the corpse of their BFF, during a weekend getaway and party at one of the dictatorial palaces. Harry Belefonte will of course be the musical entertainment. How will they keep the despot’s death a secret from all the guests? Well, just ask the Venezuelan government, they did for a while…

Sean Penn & Oliver Stone mourn their “champion” !????????
Sean Penn’s dad brought communism to follywood. He has been walking in the old man’s footsteps since he could speak. This speaks volumes for the philosophy and character of these two. Hugo Chavez is a thug COMMUNIST with a capital C ( as is Bill Ayers, only Bill says he is with a small C)
Penn and Stone want to be in the top 2% of the “Party” these 2 jackasses should be deported and let them live as the poor people living under communist rule. By the way thanks to the media for and their left leaning as they lost their phony champion as well. The poor certainly won’t miss hhim.

Donna Brown – I appreciate that you appear to be far better educated than the average commentor. You raise many valid points but unfortunately you chose to ignore so much more. Penn and Stone and others see to like the idea that Chavez has taken the wealth created from his country’s oil resources and distributed that to the poorest citizens. Would they like it as much if the US government took over the movie industry and spread their fat profits out among the poor? This is exactly what Chavez did (keeping a nice chunk for himself, mind you.) Please explain why it is okay that Stone and Penn are paid millions upon millions to create films while a working class family of four has to pay nearly a day’s wages just to see it in a theater. They can point their fingers at the mean old oil companies all they want but entertainers (including athletes) are just as guilty of “corporate greed” when it comes to their own money.
