"The Bachelor" Sean Lowe and his new fiancée, Catherine Giudici, say they are waiting until after their made-for-TV wedding before consummating their relationship.

Lowe, 29, who's been described in celebrity magazines as a "born-again virgin," told " People" magazine that the couple will abstain from having sex until they are declared husband and wife. Guidici is a 26-year-old graphic designer from Seattle.

"From my perspective, I've lived life kind of selfishly for a long time," Lowe told the magazine, "Now, I'm going to try to live it the way I know to be right."

Giudici has no problem with waiting. She told the magazine, "I honor him."

Although they haven't set a date yet, Lowe has said their nuptials will air sometime this summer on ABC. It may not be long until the couple weds: "I'm a guy. I'd go to the courthouse tomorrow if she'd let me," Lowe told "People." "We just fit so well together. We both know it's right."

The woman who rejected him on "The Bachelorette" last year, Emily Maynard, will not be invited, " Us Weekly" quoted him as saying.

To keep his mind off the wait, Lowe has a new TV distraction. He will be competing with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd on the 16th season of " Dancing with the Stars." Lowe chose Guidici over runner-up Lindsay Yenter on Monday's season finale of "The Bachelor." "The Bachelor" airs on ABC.
