Everyone remembers the lovable Vada Sultenfuss from "My Girl." Well now, Anna Chlumsky, the actress who played Vada, is going from "My Girl" to "my mommy."

The "Veep" star confirmed to People magazine that she and husband Shaun So are expecting their first child. Chlumsky, 32, said her pregnancy has been fairly easy so far.

"I was really lucky, I did not have any morning sickness which was great because I was working," she said, adding that she and So are keeping the baby's sex a secret.

Until the baby arrives this summer, Chlumsky and So are spending their time preparing the nursery and reading parenting books.

"I'm being judicious with which books I read because I don't want to get overwhelmed," Chlumsky said. "Most of the books have to do with how to have a worry-free pregnancy and keep the anxiety down."

Since starring in the coming-of-age story "My Girl" at age 10, Chlumsky has had a few small acting roles until scoring a starring role in HBO's "Veep" alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Chlumsky and So married in 2008.
