Christie Brinkley was one of the biggest supermodels in the 1980s, and now her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, is following in her footsteps.

"I was so scared!" the 15-year-old told Teen Vogue said of her first photo shoot. (She appears in the magazine's August issue, on stands July 2.) "I usually just make a funny face or clench up, so I was like, 'Oh my God! Mom, how am I supposed to do this?'"

Unsurprisingly, the rising high school sophomore was a natural - and their looks aren't the only thing mother and daughter share.

Cook told the magazine that she loves getting her mom's designer hand-me-downs, especially her accessories.

"She has the best scarves, which I wear with everything," she said. "When I was young, my best friend and I would try on her clothes and make little videos with her high heels. Little did we know how sacred those Christian Louboutins are!" (Her shoe size is bigger than Brinkley's.)

But there are other perks to having a supermodel for a mom. In 2010, her mom's connections allowed her to meet her celeb crush, Zac Efron, while she was on vacation in Turks and Caicos.

"I pulled myself together and was like, 'Mom, we need to act like I'm not a fan at all. We're just peers. We are good.'" she said. "He was picture-perfect, of course. I saw him again a couple days later on New Year's Eve and he goes, 'Hey Sailor, do you want to dance?' I went back to my room afterward and video-chatted every single one of my friends. It was my profile picture on Facebook for, like, the rest of the year."
