'The Bachelor' Sean Lowe, Fiance 'Proud' to Wait Until Marriage

It's been three months since "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe proposed in the Thailand sunset to Catherine Giudici on the hit ABC show, and life for the engaged couple has been a "wonderful" whirlwind, Lowe said.

"I went straight into ' Dancing With the Stars,' which was so much more than I thought it would be. It was really time-consuming," Lowe, 29, said today on " Good Morning America." "But now that that's over, we have a lot more time to hang out, explore Southern California and just be a couple."

Spending more quality time together has been a welcome change for Giudici, who put up with her fiance's rigorous "Dancing" rehearsal schedule. Since the cameras stopped rolling, Giudici has enjoyed spending time with Lowe and his dog.

"He's such a good [dog] owner and doggy daddy," Giudici, 26, said about her fiance, adding that it's "absolutely" a sign of what kind of dad he'd be down the road.

While kids may be in their future long-term, the reality TV duo is taking it slow. The two, who have said they will tie the knot on TV, in keeping with how they met, have not started any wedding planning yet.

"I was never that girl to think about wedding-day details," Giudici, a graphic designer from Seattle, said. "We are thinking about having it in California and that's pretty much the extent of it at this point."

"We are in no rush," Lowe explained.

The couple has no problem with waiting. They made headlines in March when they revealed their personal decision to abstain from having sex until marriage. Lowe said he was surprised by the public's reaction to their intimate vow.

"I guess it's because it's so uncommon these days," Lowe said on the media response. "My faith has been the center of my life for a long time and it's the center of her life as well, and that's no secret. We are proud of that fact. We realize that it's viewed as kind of being weird these days, but we are not going to shy away from it. We are unapologetic."
