Aretha Franklin, 71, could be performing again soon.

The "Respect" singer told The Associated Press on Tuesday that she's 85 percent healed from her undisclosed illness.

"My treatments are going very well," she said. "My doctor at the CAT scan and everyone who sees this says that this is miraculous, absolutely miraculous."

The 18-time Grammy winner had to cancel multiple shows earlier in the year because of the condition.

All she has told the media is that the ailment is common to women and something she would have "to deal with." It may not be related, but in 2010, Franklin also cancelled shows in order to have surgery.

"Keep me in your prayers until I am 100 percent, not 85, and back onstage," she told the AP.
